We now offer some classes via livestream (zoom) as well as in the studio. If you are attending the class via zoom, simply click on the class saying 'online' rather than the one saying 'studio', and once you pay you'll receive the zoom link. Don't forget the times are in Adelaide times ACST.

Once we are established, we will be offering more classes (including early morning classes and later evenings) throughout the week.
If you are attending the studio, bookings and payment are essential as class numbers are small. If you choose not to book and pay online, you can simply show up before the class, and if there are spots you can pay using a card or cash. Please note, we cannot hold a spot for you unless payment is made.
If you need to cancel, please respect others by canceling your booking 4 hours prior to the class. Penalties for not doing this may apply.
Due to our timetable being small, we are not offering payment plans or packages as yet. Watch this space (it'll happen soon!).
All classes are held in person in our Walkerville studio, and some are available by livestream (zoom). See below timetable for more info.
Class Descriptions
Please note:
We are not a hot yoga studio. None of our classes are heated (unless it is winter, and the room is cold)
We want everyone to feel safe and supported at The Yoga Social, so we do not offer 'hands on' assists or adjusts.
Classes that are also available via livestream will be done so using a small laptop. This laptop will be placed directly in front of the instructor, and will not show any other students in the room.
CLASSICAL - A Hatha class which can help you build strength, improve flexibility and relax and unwind. This class starts off with a vigorous flow, and then becomes static with less transitions to give you more time in each posture. This class is suitable for everybody, regardless of experience and level of fitness, and generally includes (as well as yoga poses) other practices of yoga including meditation, pranayama and a longer savasana.
FLOW AND RESTORE - A half and half class for those of you who want it all! The first half is Flow (vinyasa), which consists of moving through postures with breath. This can bring your heart rate up, create heat and increase strength and stamina. The second half is Restore, which includes deep stretching and relaxation. This class is suitable for everyone, but remember, you'll be moving and sweating at the start!
REST AND RESTORE - This Restorative class offers breathing techniques, relaxation postures, deep stretches and meditation to help calm the mind and release stress. This class is suitable for everybody. Assistance will be offered in the form of offering different props and options so you can find comfort in each pose. CHAIR YOGA - This Chair Yoga class is for those who need to take things slower and may find standing, or getting up and down off the floor a struggle. Most of this class is seated. There are some chair assisted standing postures, with options to stay seated if required. Perfect for Seniors, Pregnant students, People with a disability, and anyone wanting or needing to take it gentle and slow.
LUNCHTIME MEDITATION - Start your weekend right, and let go of the working week. This 45 minute class will teach you some simple techniques to help you think more clearly, calm your mind, improve sleep and overall health. We have chairs for those of you who choose not to sit on the floor, and bolsters and blankets. Our little oasis on Walkerville Terrace will have you feeling relaxed in no time :)
