Saturday 19th October 10am - 4pm Sunday 20th October 10am - 4pm Address The Yoga Social 91B Walkerville Terrace (we are around the back of the shops) Walkerville 5081 We are registered with both Yoga Australia and Yoga Alliance for Continuing Education Credits. Upon completion of this training you will be a confident and knowledgeable Restorative Yoga Teacher and receive Restorative Yoga teaching certification. |

Course Content
Please note - for certification to teach, the pre-requisite for this training is at least a
200hr Yoga Teaching qualification. However, you can still attend this training if you are not a
yoga teacher, and would like to explore restorative yoga and take your practice to a deeper level :)

- Restorative Yoga Poses and techniques (includes different alignments for different bodies, props and benefits)
- Meditation and breathing techniques (and how they can assist us in our restorative poses and daily life)
- Yoga Nidra (includes exploration of a few yoga nidra approaches)
- Physiology (includes the effects of stress on the body and our autonomic nervous system).
- Anatomy (includes stretching and connective tissue)
- The art of teaching Restorative Yoga (includes sequencing, cuing, timing and the teacher)
