RESTORATIVE YOGA - YOGA TEAPOT
Experience Jaye's signature combination of Restorative Yoga & Somatic Meditation! Step into a nurturing space dedicated to deep cellular rest & quiet transformation. Slow down, surrender your body to gravity & soften into a series of fully supported yoga poses. Rest comfortably & receive the nourishment of the breath, while being guided to activate the key restorative processes that soothe the nervous system & balance the tone of your whole being.
Restorative Yoga is a practice of constructive rest & compassionate self-care. It is a nourishing & gentle practice that includes supine & seated poses, forward bends & supported inversions. Yoga props are utilised to allow you to rest comfortably in each of the poses without stress or strain.Jaye will offer variations to enable you to adapt the poses to suit your body's needs.
Somatic Meditation is a practice of sensory engagement with the structures, systems & processes of the body. You will be guided to yield your bones to the earth, release muscular effort, tone your organs & reconnect with the fluid nature of your cellular being. Jaye will guide you to develop the key somatic skills that restore the body's innate processes of self-regulation.
Jaye has been refining this somatic approach to Restorative Yoga, inspired by their training in Body-Mind Centering® for 15+ years in Naarm/Melbourne & is now offering a weekly class in Tarntanya/Adelaide!
