The Details
Saturday October 14th - 10am - 5pm Saturday October 28th - 10am - 5pm (attendance to both days is required) Address The Yoga Social 91B Walkerville Terrace (we are around the back of the shops) Walkerville 5081 There is an online component as well as the dates/times above, which will bring the total hours of this course to 50hrs. We are registered with both Yoga Australia and Yoga Alliance for Continuing Education Credits. Upon completion of this training you will be a qualified Restorative Yoga Teacher. |

Course Content
Please note - for certification to teach, the pre-requisite for this training is at least a
200hr Yoga Teaching qualification. However, you can still attend this training if you are not a
yoga teacher, and would like to explore restorative yoga and take your practice to a deeper level :)

- Restorative Yoga Poses and techniques (includes different alignments for different bodies, props and benefits)
- Meditation and breathing techniques (and how they can assist us in our restorative poses and daily life)
- Yoga Nidra (includes exploration of a few yoga nidra approaches)
- Physiology (includes the effects of stress on the body and our autonomic nervous system).
- Anatomy (includes stretching and connective tissue)
- The art of teaching Restorative Yoga (includes sequencing, cuing, timing and the teacher)
- in the two weeks between the Saturdays, participants will be required to complete an online component which will be released after the first weekend.

Paid in Full - $700
Manuals are provided as well as access to the online school for the online component (after the first weekend).
Props are provided on the weekends, but feel free to bring your own.

Please bring your own lunch. We have a small kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and kettle etc.
